A picture is worth a thousand words was the mantra for Hivelocity during this drastic site overhaul.  “We have so much to say about our services and the level of service we provide that we found ourselves creating mountains of text on our previous site iterations.  With our newest site our goal was to let our images do most of the talking and keep our text to a minimum”, says Hivelocity’s Director of Operations, Steve Eschweiler.  “A considerable amount of time on the new site was placed on our photography and ensuring we captured just the right images that convey all of the things we want to say.”

It only takes a second on Hivelocity’s new home page to see the emphasis put on photography for this version of their site.  Bold images within Hivelocity’s data center and NOC (network operation center) are found everywhere throughout the site presenting visitors with a clear idea of the capabilities Hivelocity offers.    As if the images were not enough to show off Hivelocity’s facility, an interactive virtual tour is also included on the home page which allows visitors to navigate their way throughout most of Hivelocity’s data center.

“We are very proud of our new site and hope we finally have created a representation of what Hivelocity is all about.  Hopefully the 6th time is a charm,” said Eschweiler.  You can visit the new site and share your thoughts at https://www.hivelocity.net/.
