Data Analyst

Role: We are looking for a passionate Data Analyst. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

· Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports.

· Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.

· Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems

· Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.

· Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.

· Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.

· Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.

· Create and maintain high level dashboards that are human readable to inform decision making at executive and departmental levels.

· Collaborate with department heads to understand how the data correlates to business processes and objectives.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
  • A minimum of 3 – 5 years industry experience.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with SQL.
  • Redash and Python experience preferred, but not required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to manage multiple priorities.

Digital Marketing Strategist

The Digital Marketing Strategist is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing digital marketing campaigns that promote Hivelocity and our products and/or services in the technology industry, quantified by increased lead generation and Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC). Must have strong knowledge in all areas of digital/online marketing and be able to successfully lead/execute/convert campaigns. You’ll be the first person in this type of role, empowered to build from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

Increase rate of inbound leads while improving CAC by performing the following

1) Manage and coordinate activities:

i) Guide data and analytics teams

ii) Align social media content and growth strategy

iii) Partner with CPC Manager, SEO/Content writer, Web design and Branding team to ensure high performance

iv) Partner with Inside Sales and Marketing team to yield greater engagement from our customer base

2) Develop strategies that drive new and existing customers to the website and increase conversions

3) Suggest improvements to website design, UX, and content

4) Supervise creation and manage both paid, re-marketing, and organic campaigns on social media platforms

5) Maintain consistent brand messaging throughout all platforms

6) Create and manage email marketing campaigns to target key customers and prospects

7) Use advanced metrics and analytics to measure the success of all marketing campaigns and report upon both successes and failures, managing all efforts within budget. Rigorous A/B testing and optimizing our efforts across all channels.

8) Coordinate efforts between sales, marketing, quality assurance, service and development teams

Requirements and Qualifications:

– Comfort and knowledge of data-driven marketing. You will be managing raw data and making it actionable. Proficient on Excel, SQL/Python a benefit

– 5-7 years of Digital Marketing experience

– Demonstrable experience growing a SaaS/IaaS/ PaaS Company

– Excellent verbal and written communication skills

– Growth experience in startups or early stage companies highly preferred

– Self-starter able to get results without hands on guidance
