This year we held our annual holiday party at Del Fresco Grill. The thing about operating 24/7/365 is there is no perfect day or time that allows everyone in the company to attend a party. The night shift can’t show up because they are sleeping and the day shift can’t show up because they are manning the data centers. So this year was like every other with about 15 or so people putting the company first and skipping the party. We have a great group here. Even with 1/4 of the team not at the party there was enough of us in attendance that I was able to sit back for a few minutes and quietly reflect on how much Hivelocity has grown and changed over the last 15 years. We started in a basement with 1 rack of servers afterall. Knowing what we have planned for 2017, I already cannot wait for that quiet reflection at next year’s party!
