Hivelocity Appoints David Brolsma as Chief Financial Officer

Seasoned technology finance leader appointed to strengthen Hivelocity’s financial foundation and accelerate global expansion
Austin, TX – December 2, 2025 – Hivelocity, a leader in bare metal, enterprise cloud, virtual servers, and colocation, today announces the appointment of David Brolsma as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In this role, Brolsma will lead Hivelocity’s global financial strategy, overseeing capital planning, risk management, and governance to support the company’s continued growth and international expansion.
Brolsma brings more than 20 years of experience leading international finance, revenue, and governance at high-growth technology companies and multinational enterprises. He joins Hivelocity from Smarsh, a leading provider of digital communications compliance and intelligence, where he served as Chief Financial Officer.

Prior to Smarsh, he was CFO & SVP of WP Engine, Inc., where he led multiple technology acquisitions and scaled the company’s global operations. Earlier in his career, Brolsma held senior leadership roles at Rackspace, Inc., including Vice President & General Manager, where he played a key role in the company’s IPO and international expansion. He also held finance and governance roles at Valero Energy and EY, based in both Europe and the U.S.
