Save 15% on Instant Deploy Bare-Metal Servers in 26 Global Markets with Coupon Code: EdgeSave

On August 1st 2019, Hivelocity announced it’s answer to cPanel’s recent price hike by introducing a very inexpensive and extremely simple 2-tier flat rate billing model. Our initial 2-tier approach generously addressed the needs of cPanel users with up to 500 and 1,000 accounts on a single bare-metal server. While this simple 2-tier model was widely applauded, there is a measurable minority who have persistently asked, “what if I have over 1,000 accounts on a single dedicated server?” I am happy to let this segment of the market know, their persistence has paid off. We are pleased to introduce a 3rd Tier for those of you who maintain more than 1,000 cPanel accounts on a single server.

  • Tier 1: 1-500 accounts, just $32/month
  • Tier 2: 501-1000 accounts, just $65/month
  • Tier 3: 1001+ accounts, just $117/month and $.10 per additional account

Tiers 1 and 2 are fairly simple to understand while Tier 3 is slightly more complicated. In simple terms, in Tier 3 we are selling you cPanel as close to at cost as we can without losing money, like we do in Tiers 1 and 2. In short, once you add a 1,001st cPanel account to your dedicated server, your cPanel fee will jump from $65 to $117. When you add your 1,002 account your bill will go to $117.10. When you add your 1,003rd account your cPanel bill will be $117.20 and so on for as long as you can cram accounts on to your server.

While Tier 3 is a bit more complex, it is important for you to know, this is the only tier that actually follows the schema that cPanel has tried to dictate we all follow. You can find cPanel’s announcement and the billing model we are forced to work around at https://blog.cpanel.com/update-to-account-based-pricing/. At the end of the day, you will not find cPanel offered cheaper or more simply than at Hivelocity. We will even help you migrate to a Hivelocity dedicated server free of charge.

At Hivelocity, our goal is to foster our customer’s growth. The stronger and more successful our customers are, the stronger and more successful we will be. We hope you see our new cPanel pricing as a testament to this mission. We provide our customers with 24/7/365 expert support from technicians and engineers working on-premise within our data centers. We maintain a Net Promotor Score of an almost unfathomable 81. Moving to Hivelocity will be the best move you’ve ever made for your business.

Customers can find these 3 cPanel license options within the cart during the ordering process of any dedicated server we offer.
